If you go to "New Buzz" you'll see we're offering reunion polo shirts for purchase.  They all  have the 1960 50th Reunion logo embroirdered on the left chest.  They come in orange, white, and orange stripes on white.  The striped shirt is $40.00, including tax and mailing; the orange and white are $18.00 including tax and mailing.  The instructions for ordering are on that site.

Gene Crossett and his wife, Linda, were returning from a vacation west and passing our way on their way home.  We made arrangements to meet for breakfast and enjoyed "catching up."  Margy Stout McConnell joined us.  Gene plans to come to our reunion.

I want to pass on the news of the death of Margaret (Margy) Stout McConnell's husband, Russ.  He  passed away on April 7th.  Some of you may have met him at previous reunions.  Although he had some serious health issues, his death at this time was unexpected.  I know that Margy would appreciate hearing from you.  Her address:   Margy McConnell

The Reunion committee met yesterday (Sunday, 3/21) in Washington to continue the planning of our "BIG EVENT!"  Take a look at the tentative schedule of events for the two days on the 'DETAILS OF EVENTS" page.  We'll soon be posting the cost of the reunion week-end and will be taking reservations anytime after that.  We'll be sending the same information via email or regular mail very soon.

We're hopeful that you are making plans to attend!

We've just learned that Sue Owen Kirk's mother, Helen Owen, just passed away at the United Presbyterian Home.  A memorial service was held there last week-end.  We want to express our sympathy to Sue and to her siblings, Brian, Sally, Alice, and Jim. I remember Helen fondly.  She was one of my mother's good friends and enjoyed Bridge as much as my mother!

Don't you get the feeling that this winter is never going to be over??  I was "warmed" by the registration of three of our classmates, however.  

SANDRA BLACK AGGSON has registered as well as TERRY HORA.  We won't be able to communicate with them by email but we're very glad they're on board!

BOB SPEAKE registered today.  It sounds like Bob and his wife are enjoying retirement.  We hope they'll head  their RV up this way in September!

We have had some response to a mailing that we did last month.  JUDY SHAFER MANNING mailed her info and a recent picture so you'll find her on the CLASSMATES page.  She shared info about one of her granddaughters who is being treated for Leukemia and a project that she and others have been involved in.  They make blankets for children like her granddaughter who are in the hospital and undergoing treatment.  Judy doesn't have email.

And today you'll find LUCILLE SMITH BONHAM on the classmates page.  Lucy has the honor of being the most senior in the class of '60!  She lives in Washington and is still working full-time as an Abrstractor.  Lucy has email so you can contact her.

Not much activity of late.  We did send classmates without email,  information about the dates of the reunion and included a registration form for them to complete.  We'll put them on the website when we receive their info along with their senior pictures if we have them. 

Judy Shafer Manning sent her info and is now on the Classmates page.  We're glad she registered.  (She doesn't have email so we can't contact her that way.)
