I retired from my job as elementary principal in 2004.  Since, I've had some part-time jobs, currently driving for FEDEX.  It keeps me busy but still gives me time to spend with five of our grandsons who live near.

In January, we brought home a puppy named "Augie."  He is a Polish Low Land Sheep dog and he's fitting in very well, depending, of course on who you talk to!

 I sort of retired once from Regions Bank in 2006 as a farm loan officer as I had enough of the "corporate world", which I give credit for two heart operations so far.  I then had the opportunity to work for a small rural bank out of my home, which has worked out well and lets me work as hard as I want to.  I have not traveled the world or made a significant mark on our great country, but take time to fish and hunt and visit our children and four grandchildren.  All of us who are able to attend the Reunion should feel fortunate.

First of all. I want to praise the committee that has worked and still working organizing our 50th class reunion..Great job!
I have been married for 48 years to Dan..We have 3 sons, Mike 43, Tim 40 and Andy 37..We have 5 grandchildren, 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons ages 11-2..
Most of my work was in banking until I quit work to raise our family and dogs..
After 17 years home I worked in retail 3 years before going to work for Rockwell-Collins at that time..
I retired in 1998 after 11 years and Dan retired in 1999 after 37 years at Rockwell-Collins..
In my spare time if I'm not babysitting I like to fish and gamble.
For the past 9 years we have spent our winters in Lake Placid, Fl basking in the warm sunshine.
We will be leaving November 7th so all of you have a great winter and will be bak the end of April...

I retired last month after 30 years in the escrow and title business.  It was fun and rewarding, but this is more so.  I'm not quite settled in and for now am gardening alot, yoga and long walks. 
One  daughter is in Colorado Springs with my grandson and grandaughter and my youngest in Phoenix, almost finished with nursing school--RN in December.

Connie's husband died on April 17, 2010.  She has two children and 4 stepchildren, 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  She is now retired, but worked in the school kitchen in Solon for 10 years and drove a school bus for 29 years.  Connie enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren as well as chrocheting and quilting.

Last year I gave up on the dream of speaking fluent French and traded French classes for tax preparation classes.  I am looking forward to my second tax season with H&R Block at a Mesa, AZ office. 
I spend the summers in Iowa where I bike and walk and enjoy the complete opposite of the desert atmosphere.

Looking forward to our 50th Reunion -- how did this happen so quickly??  Jim & I have 2 children and 4 grandchildren (all teenagers at this time).  One family is in R'side and the 2nd nearby so we have quality time together.

I retired after 30 years from the Iowa City VA Medical Center in 2003.  After that I volunteered at the Riverside Elementary School for a short time, did gardening, reading, the usual retirement things.  My brain became bored and I then started working for the City of Riverside, part-time, as needed, in 2006.  I have flexibility so Jim/I  can do some traveling.
