Birthday: October 24, 1942 Occupation: piano teacher Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 From Jim: I spent my twenties and thirties working as a journalist in the Quad Cities, as a solo piano player in Iowa City and Chicago where I studied jazz theory, and as a used book and record dealer in Iowa City.
From ages 39-41, I worked as a civilian remedial education teacher with the US Navy at sea. At age 40, I met my wife, Heidi, and a year later we were married.
I began playing piano again in 1986. I'm pretty much a home care provider for my wife who has been burdened with MS since 1989. In 2000, we moved from Iowa City to Cedar Rapids which has been very positive for us.
I continue to teach piano to about 25 students and spend a lot of time with my wife, son, and granddaughter.

I have just retired from a part time job as a bookkeeper (after retiring six years ago from my full time teaching job). Larry and I are hoping to do more traveling, and I look forward to having ample time to finally clean those closets, lose that extra weight, exercise regularly, and enjoy life to the fullest. Although we've been in Massachusetts for nearly forty years, I still thoroughly love our trips back to Washington and the Midwest. Thank you to the committee for setting up this site, and for your efforts towards making our 50th reunion a success.

Birthday: March 07, 1942 Occupation: retired Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Janet: I retired in Jan. 2008 after nearly 20 years in HR and payroll. I couldn't deal with that area of employment any longer So now I work a few hours a week at a Christian Bookstore. No federal regs and immigration rules I have to monitor there. I returned to school when 39 and obtained an A.A.S. I was a much better college student than a HS student. LOL
I have a wonderful second marriage, one son, two daughters, two step-sons, 8 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and two great-grand sons.
God Bless everyone thank you to the committee for all your hard work for this reunuon.

Hi everyone,
After high school I attended school in Omaha for refrigeration and air conditioning tech. I worked here in town for a few years and then married Connie Nordyke in 1964. In 1965 Uncle Sam wanted me so I spent the next three years in the Army, one of those years in Viet Nam, the rest in Virginia and Maryland. After that I spent the next 34 years as an HVAC Tec. at the University of Iowa, retireing in 2004. We have one daughter and son-in-law and three grandkids, ages 4,8,&12. Connie will retire from being county recorder at the end of this year. We enjoy going to Florida, as maybe you can see by the picture, so maybe we will be able to go there more often after Connie retires. The grandkids really enjoy going there with us, biggest sand box ever!! I hope that everyone can make time available to go to the reunion, it will be a nice time for all of us old people to get together,ha-ha!!
See y'all in September
