From Donna Austin:

I'm still practicing Pharmacy. I have been working 1 day a week at various Wal-marts since I retired from the VA Hospital.   I spend most of my time with the prevention side of medicine. This involves health and wellness education, nutrition and removing toxins from personal environments.   Most recently I have received my certification as a Level I Spring Forest Qigong instructor.

My twin daughters (42) and my son (39) each have a son and daughter.

My mother will be 90 in November and lives at Halcyon House in Washington. She has an unrestricted drivers license and acts like she is 50.

From Stanley:
I retired from the well known company of Northrup King, now known as Syngenta seed company, after 34 years, and several corporate name changes, in 05.
My daughter of 23yrs. studying physical therapy at Kirkwood CC in Cedar Rapids should be a graduate by the time of our reunion, with an associate degree, and hopefully a good job at a clinic or hospital somewhere, so she can support the Old Man. Me! Ha! I suppose I could be her patient too.
I loafed for a couple years after retirement then drove the Mini Bus for 14 months.
I'm back to loafing now. Don't know what other trouble I might get into some day.
Would be nice to see some of you who haven't made it to a reunion.Like some local people.
We're not getting any younger. I'm just getting better looking! And a bit more ornery.
See ya next year unless you're lucky enough to see me sooner.

I have worked in the stained glass business for 50 years this September!  My two sons, Mark and Jeff, and I started Lynchburg Stained Glass back in 1983.  My sons run the business now, and I am semi-retired.  They still send me out on sales calls when I'm not travelling in our RV.  I have been married to Lorene (Tootie) for 48 years and we have 3 grandchildren; James, Forrest and Hannah.  We have lived in the Lynchburg, VA area for 37 years.  We enjoy travelling and camping. When we aren't running around the country in the RV, I keep busy on my small farm and love to play with old cars!

but was  lucky and started at  bank after 4 weeks of enjoying a little retirement.

I worked at the post office as an electronic tech, I retired in 1997.  I hope to do a tour of the squire on Friday.  I am keeping busy by going to see plays and sometimes taking a trip.  In March I went to New Orleans and caught a cruise for a week.  In June I am going to Seattle for my grandson high school graduation.  He will be the second grandson that will graduate this year from high school.
I am hoping to see the Conger House Museum and maybe see the Red Brick School.  When I am Washington in September.

From Richard:
Been retired for 7 yrs. now and loving it. I have 11 grandchildren and a wife of 45 yrs. I don't know how she has put up with me for that long but I'm glad she did. We have lived in Alaska for 25 yrs. All my children and grandchildren still live here which should say something for Alaska. It is an entirely different world here  and yes we still live in igloo's, just kidding. Some people really do think that though. They also think we live in 40 to 50 below weather. We want them to keep thinking that. Actually I have only seen it below zero very few times since we have lived here. The average is +20 in the winter and getting warmer every year. During summer it averages from 60 to 80  and sunshine close to 24 hours per day. This is God's country and every day I am in awe  over this beautiful country and how things change every single day.
Hope to see all of you at the next reunion. The last  one I thought I was in the wrong place. I looked around and wondered who in the world were all these old people. Haven't looked in the mirror for years.
In my spare time I do Karaoke Shows. It's the most fun that I have ever had doing these shows. It also gives me extra cash to buy more equipment. I also love to bowl. I once was a 200 average bowler but since getting older I have dropped to 180. That's about it. See all of you soon.
