In 1964, after graduating from Marycrest College, I moved to northwestern California for my first teaching job.  I married in 1965 and had two children--a boy, Sean in 1966 and a daughter, Stephanie in 1967.  My first marriage ended in divorce.  Five years later I met  my present husband, Thomas Wertheimer, my cousin's navy buddy.  We have two boys, Ganya, 32, named after his grandmother's maiden name, and Robert, 31, who has Down Syndrome.  We are now blessed to have five grandchildren, Bridget, Gonpo, Weylin, Ryder, and Reese.  The last two we don't see very often because they live in Singapore.

Over the years we've tried to live on our 24.8 acres 25 miles from the town of Ukiah, California.  We've struggled to stay in our unfinished cabin, yet participate in a regular American life, so we've moved back and forth from the mountain to town three times.  Hopefully, we'll be able to finish our home and retire to the mountain in 2012.

Great web site!  I plan on attending the reunion in September.  Retired partner, Ernst & Young and oil and gas constultant.  JoAnn and I have been married since 1966.  Viet Nam veteran, 101st Airborne.  After military service and graduate school, we lived in Texas and then in Tulsa, Oklahoma until 2004 when I retired and moved to southern AZ--it's a dry heat!  We have 2 married children and 4 grandchildren; 3 in Oklahoma City and 1 in Houston, Texas.  I keep busy with Golf, motorcycling and serving on two board of directors for water companies in Green Valley, local volunteer work, American Legion along with travels.

     Thank you committee for your work.  It would be great to see all living graduates at our 50th reunion.
      I retired in June 2006 after 41 years at the Tri-County Community School District.  I returned to Washington in January 2007.  I've done some tutoring at the Washington Center for Kirkwood Community College.  That lead to actually teaching a couple of courses for them during the spring term this year.  Otherwise, I am enjoying the freedom that comes with retirement.

Larry and I have been married 47 years.  We have lived all of our lives in Iowa and for the last 35 years lucky enough to reside in the country near Marengo, IA..  Larry is semi-retired and I work as an Iowa County Supervisor.  Retirement doesn't seem to be a term that I understand.  We have 2 daughters; Erica lives near us in Cedar Rapids IA and Tascha lives in Colorado Springs, CO.  Our favorite place to relax and explore is the Rocky Mountains High Country in Summit County, CO which we try to visit several times a year.
